Orthopedist

An orthopedist, also known as an orthopedic surgeon, is a medical doctor who specializes in the field of orthopedics. Orthopedics is a branch of medicine that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of disorders and injuries related to the musculoskeletal system. The musculoskeletal system includes bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and other connective tissues.
Orthopedists are trained to deal with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, both acute and chronic. They may treat fractures, joint injuries, sports-related injuries, degenerative diseases (such as osteoarthritis), congenital disorders, and various musculoskeletal traumas.
